Coaching Pass: $45 (access into tournament venue and to the floor for Kyoroogi only)
One Free Coach Pass will be provided to each school sending minimum of 10 students, and one additional free coach pass for every 10 students thereafter. (All complimentary Coach Passes will be put in the school envelope.)
Coach Meeting: All Coaches are required to attend a 15 minute meeting before sparring competition on tournament day. Competition Rules will be explained by the Referee Chairman. A Coach Wristband will be handed out at the meeting to activate the Coach Pass. Without a Coach Wristband you will not be allowed to coach players in the ring.
The current USAT competition rules will govern this championship.
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to modify some rules if deemed necessary. Daedo Electronic Hogu will be used for all Black Belts in Kyoroogi. Competitors have to provide their own Daedo Socks. Please purchase it at: http://www.daedousa.com/electronic-foot-sensor-socks.html. You may purchase on the day of the tournament.
USAT/WTF Format COMPETITION SPORT POOMSAE:
Black belts must compete in Competition Poomsae.(Please see page 6 of tournament brochure for more details.)
KYROOGI (Sparring) COMPETITION:
Sparring competition begins with the younger age groups first (all belts).
Uncontested Competitors will be offering an exhibition match with competitor who may have different weight, rank and age after lunch in a designated area. Parents and coaches are required to present with the competitor to consent the match. Please do not go to the tournament staff to request a match; all matches will be handling at the designated area. (please see example on page 8 of tournament brochure for more details)
All divisions will be maximum of 4 competitors with the exception of Black Belt. Poomsae: One 1st, one 2nd and two 3rd place winners. Kyoroogi: One 1st, one 2nd and two 3rd place winners. Competition Poomsae: One 1st, one 2nd and two 3rd place winners.
Most Participants Award for Schools: 1st – 10th places trophies for schools with the most participants.
All Kyoroogi competitors must wear (WTF approved): white, red or blue headgear, red and blue reversible chest protector, forearm pad, shin and instep pad, groin cup (male only, worn inside), mouthpiece and WTF approved Gloves. No Eye Glasses or Goggles allowed.
Each competitor must provide his or her own equipment. Electronic headgear will not be used. Daedo Electronic Hogu will be used for Black Belt All Ages. Daedo Socks are required.
